Pulled Me Up
Jupiter, hear me in our infinite hour:
time so completely, too sweetly soured
in this Saturnian verse, our beastly powers
set to the Moon, the sinusoidal tower
to shoot like volcanism, to ring like stones
gushing, touching soft heavenly abodes
and you: your reach, you teach like homes
in a sky too lofty, too downwardly drawn
to heroes like holes unable to be sated
in our hour, our piece of Chronos dilated:
Jupiter, lift me like the arrow unsent
by the bow unstrung and the spirits unbent.
