II. Six Caryatids

I recall now the moment you glanced me,

“Please,” you said it aloud to supplement,

I knew then I had it, I was so happy, monumentally–

it seems quite distant now, but I know it– still lingers.

Similar fates I hold now, faces as true–

but still not yours, your weakness, you

hide yourself, but it is hopeless– still some

one always loves you. Stillness: your virtue.
